The 2007 Downham Market Summer Ball
Was held on Friday 22nd June in Downham Market Town Hall and as in previous
years was a Black Tie
Event.
Special Guest
Guests
started to arrive at the Town Hall using the Town Square entrance at
7.00pm for 7.30pm where they were met by our special guest Del Boy who gave them the chance to purchase a Rollox watch or something similar.
These were available subject to his usual "No money back - no
guarantee" terms of business !
Thanks
to Kevin Bee, Trotters Independent Trading famous yellow Reliant 3 wheeler had
been strategically parked on the Town Square with extra supplies of dodgy
goods available in case Del sold out.
Catering
Sally's Classic Catering provided a full meal with waitress service. Canapes
were served to guests whilst they drank their welcoming drinks on the Town
Square, after which the main meal was served in the hall itself
Entertainment
Dancing to Riski Business , a well known local 5 piece show band continued after the
meal until the end of
the evening.
