The 2008 Downham Market Summer Ball

Was held on Friday 20th June in Downham Market Town Hall  

As in previous years this was Black Tie Even, but there was a Gangsters & Molls option this year : 1920s style - many guests dressed as 20's gangsters &  moll, with zoot suits, flapper dresses, rather than the traditional black tie.

Sally's Classic Catering provided a full 4 course meal with waitress service.

Profits from the evening will be donated to the Downham Market Macmillan Cancer Support Fund in memory of committee member Maureen Welham who lost her fight against breast cancer on 6th June 2008.
